Industry of All Nations Autumn/ Winter 2011 products - In stores starting 9/2011

Cabrales - Made in Mexico City
These shoes are known to have brought the utmost comfort to generations
of grandfathers.
Today,
with a
retouched design, we carry on this tradition in
Cabrales,
a natural rubber sole
shoe made in
Mexico City.

Cabrales slippers were once only easily available to patrons of those small, nameless shoe
shops strewn about Mexico. They are shoes that lived in anonymity among the feet of the older
gentlemen who commonly purchased them.
Industry of All Nations now presents them in a new light to the everyman of any nation.

NOW PREVIEWING AT HOLLYWOOD RANCH MARKET IN TOKYO. AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE SEPTEMBER 2011.

Alpaca sweaters - Knitted by hand in Bolivia
Industry of All Nations works with a cooperative in La Paz, Bolivia, that focuses on the creation
of finished products with Bolivian natural fibers.

With the industrialization of native products, this type of sweater can now be found in the farmer's
markets of many South American countries, machine made, out of all synthetic fibers, resulting
in a product far removed from its soulful origins. IOAN is resurfacing the original methods of
manufacturing, producing 100% alpaca sweaters hand made by artisans.

Alpaca is a hypo-allergenic wool native to the highlands of Bolivia and Peru. It comes in various
natural colors ranging from soft greys and blacks to browns, beiges and whites. Being a hollow
core fiber, alpaca acts as an effective thermal insulator, while allowing the body to breathe
beneath the garment.

The alpaca wool comes from the alpaca animal. The alpaca is a type of llama that lives in the
Andes Mountains in South America. The alpaca is part of the camelidae family and is closely
related to the well-known llama.

The Incas sought refuge from the Spanish and took a limited number of these precious animals
to the heights of the Andes. If this had not happened, there may not be very many alpacas today.
They are now plentiful in the wild at a population of about 3.5 million.
